kudos.tv makes REC. This page says what the app collects and what it leaves alone.
Your footage
Everything you shoot or import is processed on your device and stays there. We have no access to it. It leaves your phone only when you share or export it yourself.
Camera and microphone
REC needs the camera and microphone to record video with sound. Neither feed is sent anywhere.
Photo library
REC asks for photo library access so it can save what you capture and read the photos and videos you choose to import.
Analytics
REC sends anonymous usage data to Google Firebase Analytics: which features get used, how long sessions run, and app performance. It is not tied to your identity and cannot be traced back to you. You can turn it off in the app's settings.
REC does not use the advertising identifier and will never ask you to allow tracking.
Other services
Apple StoreKit handles the in-app purchase. Firebase Analytics handles the anonymous usage data above. There are no advertising or cross-app tracking services in the app.
Storage
Presets, settings and media are stored locally on your device. There is no cloud storage and no sync.
Children
REC is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
